Thank you. Been there, done that. I am currently trying to thrash my own way out of a slump. Fortunately, I can feel good things coming.

“A slump is followed by a jump!” I love that! I think some of the challenge is defining what “real success” is and to avoid moving the goalpost without acknowledging meeting the current one where it’s at!

Step by step, day by day, just keep on grindin´, is my motto. The jumps and slumps may feel immediate, but it´s an ongoing process.

Good luck with kicking this slump!

Kyle,

As a former baseball player, the saying used to be, "You gotta hit your way out of a slump". Meaning, keep drawing, chin up, do the work..and then BOOM, you have a 3 for 4 day at the plate and you are off on another streak (or "jump" as you say") Good post.

Oh boy, I needed these words. I'm in the slump too, working my way through it. High five, Kyle!

I’m currently in a slump,

looking for my next jump,

Or maybe a bump or a thump,

I no longer want to be a lump on a hump of a mump.
