I think art is about the pursuit of truth. What is your truth that you are trying to share when you make a piece? There is no way to make connection with AI art because there is no feeling being pursued.

Thanks for the thoughts!

Thank you, Julie. I always wanted to do a few more illustrations of this froggy - haven’t found the time.

Great post. I think your deep storage also referenced Toad of Toad Hall on this last one. I can imagine him grabbing the cycle to escape some nefarious misadventure, hooting all the way. He did enjoy travelling.

I'm sure that's part of it. And anything French (baguette, beret). And I don't know what else, but that's part of what I love - I often come up with ideas and *CAN'T* figure out where they came from. That's fun.

These words brought me a deep sense of comfort. I've often hesitated to share my art, fearing it wouldn't be considered original if it drew inspiration from my museum visits or Instagram feed.

However, this perspective on memory in action is very reassuring: "These are examples of memory in action. It’s a relatively short-term thing and it’s how a lot of art gets made: elements of recent images that have caught your eye inspire you and make their way into your latest work." Thank you for the post! 💙
