A pencil and a piece of paper are all I have ever needed to be entertained for hours. My mother, also an artist, encouraged this from as soon as I was able to hold a pencil. Thanks, Mom! Thank you, pencils!

We're not allowed to use pen/pencil and paper for that! 🚫 You know it. And if not, you do that right in your mind/brain!

This is great! Pencils can also write underwater! And in zero gravity, but I haven't tested that one.
